The Santa Cruz -Ulta.- Trek is the most popular trekking route in the Cordillera Blanca. Located within the Huascarán National Park, where you can see turquoise lagoons and snow-capped peaks of more than 5,000 meters high and a great biodiversity, the walk lasts 7 days and 6 nights. RECOMMENDED: All tourists who live below 2000 meters above sea level, must carry out 2 to 3 days of acclimatization walks on the routes near the city of Huaraz; to achieve your Santa Cruz – Ulta trek with the physical, mental and emotional conditions that will guarantee your health, well-being and adequate enjoyment during the trekking days.
Itinerary:
Pick up from the hotel at 7 a.m. Transfer with private transport approx. 2:30 horas to Cashapampa 2,900 m.s.n.m. Where we start with the walk that lasts between 5 – 6 hours, moderate degree of difficulty; On the way we observe Rocky Mountains as well as a great variety of flora and fauna, finally we arrive at the camp located in Llamacorral at 3760 m.s.n.m. Then we will enjoy hot drinks and snacks; at 7 p.m. dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at 7 a.m. m. Beginning of the easy walk, along it Hatunqocha is observed, many species of birds as well as flora and fauna, when we reach quishuar we start with a moderate ascent to the Alpamayo viewpoint, and then continue to the base camp of Alpamayo, from there to 20 minutes of walking is Arhuayqocha, then we return to the viewpoint and then take the path to the left towards the Taullipampa camp at 4,250 meters above sea level
This day you can see the snow-capped mountains: Pumapampa, Pukarrashta, Quitaraju, Alpamayo, pucra pucraraju, Rinrihirca, Taulliraju, Paria, Garcilazo pyramid, Artesonraju, Caraz, Aguja and Collota

Taullipampa Camp 4,250 m.a.s.l.
Breakfast at 7 a.m. We start with the ascent towards the Punta Unión pass at 4750 m.a.s.l. approx. It takes us 3 hours, where an impressive 360-degree view awaits us, including the two valleys, then we will begin with the descent of approximately 4 to the Cachinanpampa camp at 3720 m.s.n.m. On the way we will observe many mountains, lagoons, several species of birds, flora, mainly the spectacular polylepis forest. Arrival at the camp we will enjoy hot drinks and snacks; around 7 p.m. dinner and the last night
Breakfast at 7 a.m. Beginning of the descent to Colcabamba, then a very graduated ascent to the camp located in the mill takes us about 5 hours in total, on the way we pass some picturesque towns with traditions and living culture. Arrival at the camp, free afternoon, at 4 p.m. hot drinks with snacks, Dinner at 7 p.m. and overnight
Breakfast at 7 a.m. Briefing of the guide, beginning of the walk through the shanoc ravine, all the way you can see many species of flora and fauna, mainly birds, waterfalls, finally you reach the pag pag lagoon that is at the end of the ravine at the foot of the snow-capped mountain. Chopicalqui, then we return to the same camp by the same ascent path, drinks with snacks, dinner at 7 pm Briefing of the guide and overnight.
Breakfast at 7 a.m. Briefing of the guide, start of the walk through the entire hatun ulta ravine, throughout the journey there is a lot of biodiversity consisting of flora and fauna, mountains such as Cajavilca and Contrahierbas as well as two lagoons located in the same valley, arriving at the camp to be able to enjoy a hot lunch prepared by the Chef, free afternoon, dinner, guide briefing and overnight.
Breakfast at 7 a.m. Briefing of the guide, start of the walk to the Yanayacu pass at 4,840 meters above sea level, upon arrival you feel a great emotion due to the ability and wisdom of our ancestors to have built the impressive road and more the spectacular view that awaits us, later it is all downhill until reaching the asphalt road that goes to Chacas; where our transport awaits us to be able to move to Huaraz, customer report on the service provided, delivery of presents with reasons for the area, farewell and end of our service.
