WALK TO LAGOON 69

Departure from Huaraz at 5:00 a.m. with a private transport heading to Yuraccorral, approximately 3 hours of travel; two stops are made on the way, the first stop in Humacchuco to have breakfast and use the toilets, continuing the journey we arrive at Chinancocha where the second stop is made, finally you reach Yuraccorral where the walk begins at 3,900 m.a.s.l. The ascent lasts approximately 3 to 4 hours, staying in the lagoon for a prudent time and then descending at the beginning of the walk to be able to board the transport and return to Huaraz. It is a very spectacular walk on the way you can see mountains such as: Huascaran, Yanapaccha, Chacraraju, Pisco and Huandoy, as well as wild flora and fauna.
